The hotel consists of pavilions with Balinese-style roofs set on its own island in the middle of a national marine park. Accommodation is in lsingle-storey villas in lush, tropical gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean. All villas have DVDs, dressing rooms, outdoor showers and luxurious bathrooms. In your room there is a fold-down ironing board and iron and daily plates of fresh fruit delivered to your room.

Delicious gourmet food is available in two restaurants, with plenty of fresh fish, tropical produce and good, friendly service. The Mont Fleuris restaurant is perched on its own tiny cove, where you can watch miniature crabs running across the white powder sand.

The Clarins spa has three treatment rooms overlooking tropical gardens. It has two large, marbled steam rooms and saunas (separate for men and women) and a fan-shaped pool with decked area and lounges, bordered by tropical plants.

The signature treatment is the Clarins Top-To-Toe (one-and-a-quarter hours) is a hydrating facial followed by a fabulously relaxing one-hour body massage to combat stress, cellulite and water retention.
